At Raizada Mansion (Lucknow)

Two people were sitting in the big library of the mansion talking about marriage, where one was determined to get his son married and other one wanted to deny the proposal again.

"But dad I dont wanna get married-" Arnav said to his father who is determined to settle his son with a good girl this year. 

"You are marrying her son, it's enough it's been years now you need someone by your side", Akshat Singh Raizada, his father argued.

He doesn't like how his son has changed himself because of the loss happened years ago, "I have you all and no girl can handle me and my rudeness", Arnav argued back but it all went vain.

Sighing Akshat stood up from his arm chair and massaged his temples. "Kabhi apni dadi ke bare me socha h, unke Wade ke bare me Jo unhone or tumhare dada ne Mishraji se Kiya tha".

(translation:- Have you ever thought about your grandma and their promise which she and your grandpa made with Mishraji)

Arnav was silent he knows he can't run away from the things he despise "love" and "promises". He loves his family a little too much to see them all disappointed and sad because of him. 

"She is a good girl son, I have met her. A simple ,less talker, beautiful and moreover a very kind and humble girl she is" Akshat praised the girl.

"You can meet her and see her photo also-" Before he could complete Arnav stated finally getting defeated from his father.

He cannot argue and let his family down after all they all want his happiness and his happiness is seeing his family happy-

"fix the date and I will be there to marry her, only for you guys and especially dadaji. I can't let him down even when he is heaven"

Saying this he left the library, Poonam his mom entered the room and went near Akshat, "Did he agree??" She asked hoping her son didn't reject the proposal again and to her happiness Akshat nodded happily making her smile,

"Waah mai abhi sabka muh mitha karwati hu, ye toh khushi ka din hai" saying this she went out.

(translation:- Wow, let me get sweets for everyone it's such a happy day)

At Mishra Mansion (Ayodhya)

"RUHANIKA, RUHANIKA" Aditya shouted his sister's name in happiness.

She hurriedly came down and saw her whole family sitting in the living room which made her a little nervous, she was never fond of crowds even if its her own family. 

"Why are you shouting my name bhaiya, wanna say something?" Ruhanika asked.

"My dear child" her aunt Nikita came forward and hugged her, "Your marriage is fixed dear ruhi with the first son of Raizada's".

She said making you little surprised. She was surprised she was getting married to Arnav Singh Raizada, she has always saw him on magazine covers and on news channels for his business and also for him Greek god like looks

Ruhanika looked at her dadi and she was smiling ear to ear making Ruhanika smile too. She smiled shyly and nodded looking down.

In this modern 21st century, being born in a traditional yet modern family Ruhanika is a woman of morals and dreams. 

"They will be coming after two days from Lucknow to fix the wedding date so you all start preparing from now only as they want marriage as early as possible" said Ruhanika's father Manish to others.

"Itni jaldi kya hai par papa" Aditya asked.

[translation:- what's the hurry dad?]

"It was promise of years Aditya beta which was always kept aside because of some issue but now as Arnav has said yes we all want it to be as soon as possible" said dadi.

Ruhanika just smiled lightly.

"But they dont even know each other, plus they should know each other to love each other", Ankit the youngest said to all.

"Shadi karne ke liye pyar hona zaruri nahi hai vo shadi ke baad bhi ho jata hai" Ruhanika's mom Roop said.

(translation:- Love is not important to get married, love can happen after marriage too)

Ruhanika heard those words and her dreams about marriage and husband played in front of her eyes Making her blush.

She was ready to meet her soon to be husband whom she has only seen in television, phone or magazines.
